Ranger Good Works has recently partnered with Nova Southeastern University, taking 40 Ranger Super Coders on a field trip to tour the Graduate School of Computer and Information Science Department. The visit, for many of the students, was their first step onto a college campus. Tech Super Hero, Dean Ackerman gave the students a tour of his amazing computer collection, gave a supercharged Tech Talk, and instructed the students on how to build a solar powered robot. Afterword, the students stopped off at the University Pit to be charged up with a slice of pizza. They also toured the Alvin Sherman Library to discover what resources are available to them before heading back to school.
