Position Summary:

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps Build Master.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for automating infrastructure workflows to help drive the organization’s application delivery pipeline and will be a key member of the agile development team.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent job experience
  • 5-7 years .NET development experience at enterprise level

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with scrum masters to comprehend upcoming release requirements
  • Manage and resolve forward and reverse integration issues autonomously
  • Design and implement process automation
  • Seamless interaction with multiple development teams working on a single development branch
  • Create and maintain build definitions in VSTS Build and Jenkins
  • Identify and resolve build and package issues
  • Closely monitor code quality and enforce test coverage standards
  • Partner with QA automation teams on orchestration of automated UI and Performance testing
  • Administer VSTS version control system using Git and TFVC repositories
  • Consistently brainstorm and develop improved methods for development environment
  • Abilitiy to self-direct and work independently or as part of a team, in addition to open mindedness about taking on different roles and using emerging or other technologies as needed
